The trademarks are the names that identify the products and services manufactured or commercialized by a particular company. They enable to distinguish the products or services of a company from the ones of others companies.

There are many classifications of trademarks. One of them gathers trademarks, certification trademarks and collective trademarks. Certification trademarks identify and also indicate a quality or source certification. The collective trademarks are used by consortiums or associations of manufacturers or agricultural companies that usually belong to the same geographical region or are part of a manufacturers´or agricultural companies´group.
