Dr. Cecilia Martínez G. Rehermann is Registered Lawyer
and Trademark and Patent Agent, she has worked for the Uruguayan government
(Trademark and Patent Office) during some time, afterwards she has practiced
in all IP matters since 1994. She also practices in civil and trade litigation
and agreements since 1994. She is councelor of the Assoc. of Uruguayan Inventors
since 2001. She is IP promoter and consultant before important organizations
and exhibitions since 2002 as for instance:
Organizations: Zonamerica Foundation (Free Zone), Uruguayan Industry Chamber,
Uruguayan National Trade and Services Chamber, National Corporation for the
Development (CONADE), Technological Development Program of Ministry of Education
and Culture, Incubadora Ingenio – Laboratorio Tecnológico del Uruguay
(LATU), Uruguayan Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining, Uruguayan Ministry
of Defense, Instituto Nacional de la Juventud (INJU).
Exhibitions: Seoul Inventors expo 2002 (obtaining Silver Medal for one of our
associated Uruguayan inventors); Geneva Salon des Inventions 2003 (obtaining
two Gold Medals and WIPO Certificate & Cash Award for one of our clients);
Galactica Exhibition 2005 – Barcelona (obtaining Silver Medal for another
of our clients); Uruguayan Inventors expo in 2003 – INJU; Santiago de
Chile Inventors expo 2006.
In 2008 – Award of Consejo Iberoamericano in Honnour to the Excellence
and Education Quality that goes to several of our associated Uruguayan inventors
– Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Registered associated Lawyers are experienced practicing in
civil, labor and criminal litigation and agreements.
Experienced Engineers in several areas of practice, an experienced
M. Sc. in Biotechnology, Lic. in Chemistry, Doctors, Veterinarians,
Industrial Designers and Webmasters work with us in an associated basis.
Our area of practice in IP matters is Patents, Trademarks, Industrial Designs,
New Varieties of Plants, Domain Names, Appellations of Origin, Copyright.
Our firm deals with IP matters including all administrative procedures, agreements,
contracts, litigation, preparation of patent and industrial design documents,
technical drawings and translation into many languages. The technical translators
that work with us on an associated basis cover currently English, French, Portuguese,
German, Hebrew, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese.
Besides, our area of practice includes preparation and filing innovation projects
before financing bureaus and organizations, company creation institutions, risk
capital funds; also we deal with the promotion and launching of innovations
and new technologies in national and international fairs and events.
Since our foundation we have correspondants in all Latinamerica, Central and
NorthAmerica and Spain. Most recently we began to work as correspondants with
several firms mainly in France, Germany, Sweeden, Israel, United Arab Emirates.
Among our clients, there are very important Latinamerican corporations, owners
of top regional trademarks, innovation Latinamerican companies, independent
inventors, associations of inventors, entrepreneurs.
